I designed personal automation features for Shortcuts for iOS and iPad. Users could set up automations that would run during certain events. For example, when receiving an email, send a text. Or connected smart home features for example, when I approach my home location, turn all the lights on to a certain scene given a certain time of day. These features were rigorously designed with review with the human interface group.
