I created Dataset Studio for Image Annotation, a company providing image data collection and annotation services tailored for machine learning engineers. Original photo data is crucial for ML, and companies like ours cater to this need by assigning photo collection tasks to a distributed workforce. To expand our client base and grow the business, I developed an open version of our internal tool, hypothesizing that allowing broader access to dataset orders would accelerate company growth beyond traditional sales and management strategies. My role encompassed user research, sketching, wireframing, interaction and visual design, and building a design system, culminating in a final design prototyped in Figma.
